Good and Bad
The Praise and Worship today is too dry and shallow.
I just couldn't seem to bring it up with my drums like I did during practice.
Tsk.
On a happier note, Pastor Tim shared this very meaningful story:
There was this man who grew up in a bible church. One day, he was appointed to do a sharing among a congregation. There he was, with his notes, walking up to the pulpit full of pride of himself, thinking that he knows everything and the sermon will run smoothly. However, the moment he reached the pulpit, he became overwhelmed by fear, anxiety and stage fright. His mind was totally blank. He flipped through his notes without knowing what he has to say, tongue-tied. Finally, he broke down and wept, running out of the hall humiliated.
A lady followed him. When she got out, she saw him at the steps, still weeping. She approached him and said these very wise words:
If you walked up the way that you went down just now, you would have walked down the way that you went up just now.
On a less happy note:
My drumming made the hole on the snare drum even bigger..Oops. >_<
