Forgiveness

Sometimes it is so difficult to comprehend why people do not forgive.
What is so extreme for them to just put down their inner weapons and bury the hatchet?
I heard of people who harbour hatred against others for decades till they bring it to their graves.
Is it worth it?
Is it deserved?

In fact,
There were so many times where God can just wipe out this world due to anger from our sins.
But no.
He chose to forgive us.
He chose to let us live.
He chose to give us mercy.

Really, I hope that forgiveness is something that people cultivate in their hearts.
Not blind forgiveness.
But true and sincere forgiveness.
